that Robert W. Riland III has joined the company as Vice President of
Marketing and Business Development. He will report to J. Richard Ellis,

Mr. Riland comes to DISC with over 14 years of marketing
and sales experience in the high tech industry with an emphasis on data
storage over the last 3 years. In his most recent role as Vice President
of Sales at Maxoptix Corporation, Mr. Riland was responsible for the company's
fastest-growing business groups with annual revenues of more than $30
million. During 6 years as a senior marketing and sales executive at U-tron
Technologies, Riland drove the company sales from a run rate of $6 million
to over $150 million per year. While at Acer America and AST Computers,
he managed products and marketing programs that helped both companies
achieve year-to-year growth rates exceeding 60%.
